“Francesco Bondanini, coordinator of the European project 'Youhood', explained to this newspaper that yesterday they were celebrating a party in Martínez Campos square to thank the neighborhood of the Rastro hospitality this week and spend some time with the children in the program activities."
Word of Mouth
"Looking at the neighborhood I really let myself be inspired by the local children and the way they lived. As such, I also wanted to paint something for the children.
I chose to make a scene inspired by the street life, Rastro knows many street cats, and fresh laundry hangs over the narrow streets."

"My biggest challenge was to be able to find a theme that could bring people together, that makes people smile with its simplicity and that did not have a political, social or religious message that could bother the people who live in the Rastro."
"The name of my Illustration is 'A Mother'

It is a tribute to the female figure and to motherhood.
I was struck, visiting the Rastro, by the number of women who walked around the neighborhood with their children in tow. With this illustration, I wanted to represent a scene of common life in which any woman of any age, race and religion could identify herself."

"I painted a traditional tea ceremony. The tea is poured from high up to spread the fragrance of the herbs. To spread a delicious smell for the guests sounds inviting ."

"YOUHOOD 2019. That word will not be erased from my memories, it has been an intense week but at the same time fun and unforgettable, one of the best experiences I have lived. I'm glad I met great artists and great people."
